Why are we so obsessed with more? To do more. Have more. Be more.
The reality is, more is not something you have to earn or become. Yet we continue to chase it. I’m here to tell you, more is something you already are, simply more.
Wanting to be more typically comes from a place of lack, as if who you are right now is unfinished or insufficient. Simply more flips that idea on its head. Your worth, your depth, your capability already exceed the boxes you’ve been placed in. Boxes that we often package ourselves in as well.
So when will you realize that you currently are, simply more, right now in this very moment?
You are more than your job title.
More than the mistakes of your past.
More than who people decided you are.
More than the characters you play for others.
It’s quiet confidence instead of loud proving.
Don’t do more, but recognize that there is already more within you instead. More resilience, more creativity, more love. More layers, more potential. A more that is sometimes more than people can handle. That’s a them problem, not a you problem.
Its not that you’re too much…you’re just simply more.
Real work isn’t trying to add more to ourselves, obtain more for ourselves, or do more for others. Its learning to see the more that’s been there all along. Simply more is permission to stop striving for external validation and instead stand fully in the wholeness you already possess.
Repeat after me,
I don’t have to become more to be enough.
I am,
in my truest form,
in this current moment,
already more than enough.
Simply. More.
